Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and creative Marketing Associate to support our day-to-day marketing initiatives. This role plays a key part in keeping campaigns, content, podcasts, events, and marketing operations running smoothly while maintaining a high standard of quality across every touchpoint.

We are a 100% virtual CPA firm, with our team located across the United States. As a real estate niche-focused firm, we serve Real Estate Investors, Syndicates, and Fund Managers. Our team has a passion for real estate and often owns investment properties themselves.

We are on a mission to change the accounting industry by creating the premier people-first firm where strong and talented team members will thrive. We are innovators of tax services and firm culture with work-life integration. We accomplish this by using the best technology and automation on the market, offering unlimited vacation and sick days, fostering an autonomous work environment, providing ongoing training, and offering health insurance and 401(k) matching.

You will report directly to the firm's Marketing Coordinator and will receive weekly 1:1 direction, coaching, and support. You will support marketing across the dental and real estate verticals at our firm, as well as our digital communities (of clients and CPA firm owners).

The ideal candidate enjoys both organization and execution but also has an eye for opportunities to improve content, processes, and the customer experience. They are comfortable wearing multiple hats, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are eager to learn, contribute ideas, and grow alongside the marketing team.

They are fluent with AI tools and treat them as a force multiplier using them to move faster on drafts, clips, and show notes while applying their own judgment and taste to every deliverable.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a broad foundation in digital marketing while contributing across content, social media, email marketing, podcasts, events, and marketing operations.

Core Responsibilities

Content Production & Social Media

  • Create and manage daily social media content to increase brand visibility, engagement, and newsletter subscriptions.
  • Monitor engagement metrics and identify opportunities to grow the firm's social presence.
  • Edit short video clips for social media distribution; add captions, branding, and simple graphics to video/audio content.
  • Support YouTube optimization (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, end screens).
  • Use AI-assisted editing tools to produce a high weekly volume of clips and drafts without sacrificing quality.

Podcast Support

  • Organize podcast files and coordinate episode uploads.
  • Coordinate podcast guest outreach and post-recording follow-up.
  • Prepare episode packaging: show notes, timestamps, graphics, and promotional materials.
  • Support podcast optimization for SEO and audience growth.

Email Marketing

  • Draft and proofread weekly email newsletters - the newsletters ship on time, every week, error-free.
  • Segment email lists for targeted outreach and assist in scheduling campaigns in HubSpot and Beehiiv.
  • Assist in scheduling designated email campaigns.
  • Maintain database hygiene and reporting; review automated emails for necessary updates.

Digital Community Support

  • Foster engagement through fresh content, meaningful conversations, and member connections.
  • Continuously improve the community experience by gathering feedback and identifying opportunities to enhance member value.

Supporting Responsibilities

Event Support

  • Assist in planning and logistics for both in-person and virtual events.
  • Assist in coordinating registrations, reminders, and post-event follow-up communications.
  • Support event marketing across channels.

Administrative & Reporting Support

  • Audit existing marketing content and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Organize and maintain marketing assets and resources.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related support role (internship or professional).
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and best practices.
  • Working knowledge of graphic design and video editing.
  • Experience with marketing tools such as HubSpot, WordPress, Canva, Meta Business Suite, or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Interest in podcasts, social media, and digital marketing trends - and genuine curiosity about business, finance, and professional-services content. Our audience is business owners and real estate investors; the best fit is someone who finds that world interesting, not just tolerable.

Competencies

Detail-oriented and reliable in execution.

Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Resourceful, creative problem-solver with a can-do attitude and an eye for improving content, campaigns, and workflows.

Clear communicator with strong writing and editing skills.

Naturally curious with a willingness to research industry trends, competitors, and emerging marketing opportunities.

Takes ownership of assigned projects and follows through with minimal supervision.

Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities.
