Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Braver Perspective, you will:

  • Utilize a variety of psychotherapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and psychodynamic therapy, to treat clients effectively.
  • Adopt a patient-centered approach, continuously assessing client responses to treatment and adjusting therapy techniques based on collected data and feedback.
  • Deliver crisis management services as needed, using your strong diagnostic and clinical skills to support clients through difficult situations.
  • Function independently, assessing clients, diagnosing mental health disorders, and developing individualized treatment plans that encompass regular follow-up sessions for ongoing support.
  • Maintain detailed electronic records using EMR software, ensuring compliance with organizational policies while minimizing paperwork workload.
  • Collaborate closely with case management teams to coordinate care and streamline client services.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), trauma, grief, and more. Our approach emphasizes a non-judgmental stance, allowing you to create a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings while receiving tailored support based on their unique challenges.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
  • A valid Social Work License (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) in accordance with state regulations is mandatory.
  • Experience with a range of mental health diagnoses and psychotherapy approaches is essential.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced remote environment and handle interruptions gracefully.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster strong therapeutic relationships.
  • Must have no history of Medical Malpractice Claims, verified by a Third Party.
