Job description

The Opportunity...

Clumioย by Commvault is a leader in cloud-native cyberย resilience.ย The product is a purpose-built SaaS platform designed to solve the "data protection gap" in high-scale cloud environments.ย We build a purpose-built Enterprise B2B SaaS platform that empowers organizations to protect their most critical data assets,ย such as Amazon S3, DynamoDB, and Apache Iceberg,ย with unprecedented scale and simplicity.ย

Theย teamย operatesย at the intersection of extreme scale and data security. We are known for engineering solutions that handle the world's most demanding data environments,ย protecting billions of objects across services like Amazon S3 and DynamoDB where traditional legacy architectures fail.ย

This is an exciting time toย be joiningย the teamย asย we are moving beyond our core success in AWS data protection to tackle the broader challenges of the multi-cloud era.ย The broader goal is to provide enterprisesย with a unified lens for visibility, compliance, and resilience, ensuring that as data grows, itย remainsย both secure and recoverable.ย You will play a pivotal role in integrating AI-driven intelligence into our products, helping us shift from reactive recovery to proactive data resilience and governance across a diverse, multi-cloud landscape.ย

What You'll Do... ย

  • Lead Product Discovery:ย Deeply understand customer problemsย regardingย data risk and recovery. You will navigate the operational constraints of massive-scale cloud environments to define how we protect and classify data across S3, DynamoDB, and Apache Iceberg.ย

  • Define Vision & Roadmap:ย Own the end-to-end journey for Cyber Resilience and DSPM features. You will manage the product fromย initialย concept through to the launch of AI-driven classification and automated recovery workflows.ย

  • Execute with Technical Rigor:ย Work day-to-day with Engineering and AI Research teams to prioritize backlogs, clarify technical scope for cloud-native integrations, and ensure high-quality execution in a high-scale environment.ย

  • Communicate with Stakeholders:ย Serve as a primary point of contact for the product's technical direction. You willย facilitateย feedback loops with customers, present roadmaps to internal leadership, and provide technical clarity to external partners as needed.ย

  • Bridge the GTM Gap:ย Partner with Sales and Marketing to support pilots and customer adoption. You will translate complex "resilience" and "posture" capabilities into clear business value for the enterprise buyer.ย

  • Measure Impact:ย Track product success throughย adoptionย metrics, recovery timeย objectivesย (RTO), and the effectiveness of AI-driven data classification.ย

Who You Are... ย

  • Education:ย Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, orย a relatedย technical field.ย

  • Experience:ย 10+ years of Product Management experience with a focus on Enterprise B2B SaaS and platform products.ย

  • Domain Expertise:ย At least 5 years in the Cybersecurity or Data Protection space, with specific experience in Cyber Resilience, Backup/Recovery, or DSPM.ย

  • Cloud Native Proficiency:ย Proven, hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP). You must understand cloud storage architectures, IAM, and resource management.ย

  • AI/ML Delivery:ย Experience delivering production-grade AI/ML capabilities, specifically for data classification, anomaly detection, or automated remediation.ย

  • Professional Communication:ย Demonstratedย ability to present technical roadmaps and product strategy clearly to both internal teams and external customers.ย

What Will Make You Stand Outย ย

  • Advanced Degree:ย An MBA orย aย Master'sย degree inย a technicalย discipline.ย

  • Industry Engagement:ย Experience contributing to technical white papers,ย participatingย in industry working groups, or presenting at professional security conferences.ย

  • Practitioner Experience:ย Prior experience as a cloud security architect or data engineer, giving you "firsthand" knowledge of the pain points involved in cloud data management.ย

You'llย Love Working Here Becauseย

  • Collaborate with amazing, driven, and supportive team members.ย

  • Enjoy continuous professional growth through product training, development programs, and clear career pathways.ย

  • Work on high-impact, large-scale cloud data protection systems used by global enterprises.ย

  • Thrive in an inclusive, open culture with opportunities to connect through our community groups.ย

  • Take advantage of generous global benefits tailored to support your well-being.ย

  • Receive competitive compensation that reflects your impact.ย

  • Share inย our success through our Employee Stock Purchase Plan.ย
