The role of the Licensed Clinical Social Worker will be conducted remotely, providing flexibility and a supportive work-life balance. The position entails working in a hospice care setting, where you will interface with both clients and their families, often during critical and emotionally challenging times. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will undertake a variety of clinical responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' needs, including mental health symptoms and psychosocial factors affecting their care.
• Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support.
• Facilitating individual, group, and family therapy sessions to address issues of grief, loss, and coping mechanisms related to terminal illness.
• Leading crisis intervention efforts, responding effectively to emergencies, and ensuring client safety.
• Maintaining accurate documentation to comply with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards, as well as submitting timely reports and data.
• Engaging in continuous professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge aligned with best practices.

This position primarily serves clients who are dealing with the effects of terminal illness and may include a wide range of individuals facing symptoms of major depression, anxiety, and severe emotional disorders. You will provide specialized support tailored to the unique needs of hospice patients and their families, facilitating a dignified approach to end-of-life issues.

The successful candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field, which is a prerequisite for licensure.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation in the state of Tennessee.
• Expert knowledge in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health issues, particularly in end-of-life contexts.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy and active listening.
• Strong organizational and planning capabilities to manage multiple clients and care plans effectively.

While a minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is preferred, we also welcome candidates with extensive volunteer or internship experience in similar settings. Familiarity with hospice care protocols and interventions tailored for terminally ill patients will be considered an asset.
