Interns are trained to extract specific information according to established guidelines and enter it into digital systems for analysis or reporting. This role often requires attention to detail, data entry skills, and a basic understanding of the field's terminology. Interns may work for healthcare organizations, research institutions, or companies needing accurate data abstraction for projects.
