• Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' mental health challenges and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Westwood Family Psychotherapy, you will be working with a diverse range of clients, addressing issues that include but are not limited to anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship challenges, and more. • A Bachelor’s degree in counseling or a related field is required.
• A Master’s degree in Counseling or a related discipline is preferred, with 1-2 years of clinical internship experience.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is mandatory.
• The candidate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and have specific vision abilities for close work.

• Experience with EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy, with certification.
• Familiarity with health psychology concepts, particularly in managing chronic health issues or pain.
• Practical experience in applying various therapeutic approaches, like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, or solution-focused therapy, can be advantageous.
