  • Review clinical cases, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other documentation for quality, accuracy, medical necessity, and regulatory compliance.
  • Guide clinicians in case conceptualization, diagnosis, treatment planning, crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, and appropriate referrals.
  • Monitor supervisees’ clinical performance, documentation practices, productivity, professional conduct, and progress toward established goals.
  • Provide timely, specific, and constructive feedback to strengthen clinical skills, ethical decision-making, and professional confidence.
  • Assist supervisees in developing individualized professional-development and continuing-education plans.
  • Support clinicians in responding appropriately to complex cases, ethical concerns, mandated-reporting situations, suicidal or homicidal risk, abuse or neglect, and other clinical emergencies.
  • Ensure that supervisees practice within the limits of their education, training, licensure, and assigned scope of practice.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records of supervision sessions, case consultations, competency evaluations, and corrective-action plans.
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership, operations, intake, billing, credentialing, and quality-assurance teams to support coordinated service delivery.
  • Participate in clinical audits, staff training, quality-improvement initiatives, and the development or revision of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Promote a supportive, accountable, trauma-informed workplace culture grounded in ethical practice and high-quality client care.
  • Remain current on evidence-based practices, professional ethics, telehealth requirements, documentation standards, and changes in applicable laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related behavioral health field.
  • Current, active, and unrestricted independent clinical license, such as LCSW, LPC/LPCC, LMFT, or an equivalent credential.
  • Authorization or board-approved status to provide clinical supervision in the state or states served, when required.
  • At least three years of post-licensure clinical experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Previous experience providing clinical supervision, consultation, training, or mentorship to behavioral health professionals.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, risk assessment, crisis response, ethics, confidentiality, and mandated-reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate clinical documentation and provide clear, actionable feedback.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to establish trust, accountability, and professional boundaries in a remote work environment.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records, secure video platforms, and other virtual communication tools.
  • Access to a private, secure workspace and reliable high-speed internet suitable for confidential remote supervision.
  • Commitment to ethical, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and client-centered care.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Board-approved clinical supervisor designation or equivalent supervisory credential.
  • At least two years of formal clinical supervision experience.
  • Experience supervising associate-level clinicians, interns, practicum students, or independently licensed providers.
  • Experience with telehealth, nonprofit behavioral health services, community mental health, substance use treatment, trauma recovery, family systems, or court-involved services.
  • Familiarity with insurance documentation, medical-necessity requirements, utilization review, and clinical compliance audits.
  • Experience developing clinical training, policies, procedures, or performance-improvement plans.
What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation based on experience, credentials, and supervisory responsibilities.
  • Flexible remote scheduling.
  • Opportunities for leadership development and professional advancement.
  • A collaborative, mission-driven team environment.
  • Access to continuing education, clinical resources, and professional-development opportunities.
  • The opportunity to shape clinical practice and support the growth of behavioral health professionals.
  • Meaningful work that strengthens the quality and accessibility of mental health services.
