• Conduct thorough assessments and develop detailed treatment plans tailored to individual client needs, ensuring adherence to professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate crisis intervention support by developing pre-crisis and crisis plans in partnership with clients and other team members.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and progress notes, in compliance with industry regulations.
• Employ evidence-based tools and practices as indicated in the assessment outcomes, ensuring effectiveness in treatment.
• Actively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized positive behavior support plans.
• Participate in agency-wide quality assurance processes, contributing to licensing and accreditation efforts.

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing emotional disturbances, those in recovery from substance use, and clients with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries. Your empathetic listening and ability to establish rapport will be crucial as you navigate various challenges with clients and support their journey toward healing.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field.
• A completed full-time clinical internship in a mental health setting is required.
• Must be license eligible in the state of New York, demonstrating a commitment to uphold professional standards.
• A valid driver’s license in good standing, providing the ability to traverse locations as needed.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to quickly build trust and rapport with clients.
• Adept at listening with empathy while providing clear guidance to support client goals.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and client management.

• Experience with evidence-based treatment modalities and an understanding of behavioral health guidelines.
• Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and therapeutic techniques.
• Knowledge of community resources and referral options available to clients.
