Interns may use design software like Adobe InDesign or Photoshop, collaborate virtually with authors or publishers, and gain hands-on experience in the publishing industry. This type of internship is ideal for students or recent graduates seeking to build their portfolio and learn practical skills without relocating. Responsibilities may include formatting manuscripts, creating digital artwork, and ensuring the final design meets publishing standards.
