Job Title: Franchise Account Manager (Specialist)

Location: Fully Remote (U.S. Residents only, 50 States)

Type: Full-Time

Salary: $45k - $50k base plus commission

Department: Account Services – Franchise Team

About the Role

Are you an ambitious, commercially-minded professional looking to build a high-impact career in digital marketing account management? Do you naturally build trust, communicate with confidence, and bring energy to every client interaction?

At Ignite Visibility, an award-winning digital marketing agency, we are building a team of strategic partners who take commercial ownership, get ahead of client needs, and drive long-term success for franchise networks across the country.

As a Franchise Account Manager (Specialist), you will serve as a frontline relationship builder and business partner across our growing franchise accounts. Working directly alongside Senior Account Managers and Franchise Leadership, you will support new franchise onboardings, manage location growth via our proprietary marketing platforms and proactively identify account risks, and uncover expansion opportunities across local franchise territories.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Relationship Building & Territory Support

  • Advisor & Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the frontline communication bridge for franchise operators, providing quick, articulate, and solutions-oriented customer service.

  • Corporate & Franchise Liaison: Act as a smooth liaison between corporate brand stakeholders and local franchisees to communicate process updates, brand strategies, and sales support.

  • Proactive Client Care: Build deep rapport with franchise partners, ensuring high client satisfaction, rapid response times, and consistent engagement cadence across your assigned portfolio.

2. New Account Onboarding & Platform Management

  • Drive Franchise Growth & Onboarding: Partner with leadership to seamlessly onboard newly acquired franchise locations, setting them up for immediate digital marketing success.

  • Platform Operations: Manage setup, reporting, and operational execution across digital management tools, sheets, and platforms, including Acquire™ and DevHub.

  • Marketing & Hubspot Consulting: Understand franchise sales/marketing workflows to help map and optimize client needs within HubSpot and CRM platforms for maximum growth impact.

3. Commercial Ownership, Retention & Expansion

  • Identify Growth Signals: Maintain a commercial instinct—actively spotting upsell/cross-sell opportunities, local expansion needs, and new service add-ons across franchise territories.

  • Risk Sensing & Retention: Monitor portfolio health, flag potential cancellation risks early, and collaborate with lead Account Managers to proactively retain accounts.

  • Billing & Change Orders: Manage billing updates, service modifications, estimates, and client approvals with high accuracy and business acumen.

4. Execution, QBRs & Agency Collaboration

  • Business Reviews (QBRs): Assist lead Account Managers in preparing data-backed, structured Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and executive strategic roadmaps.

  • Internal Team Alignment: Collaborate with internal specialist teams (Paid Search, SEO, Social, UX, Analytics) to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client goals.

  • Meeting & Operations Prep: Ensure all status reports, monthly budget summaries, meeting agendas, and strategy documentation are error-free and ready in advance.

What We Look For: Personality & Character Profile

This role is built for individuals who have a growth mindset, high energy, and natural commercial instinct. We hire for character, resilience, and drive first:

  • Likeable & Strong: You possess the warmth to build instant rapport with franchise owners and the backbone to hold your ground during challenging conversations.

  • Confidence & Presence: Comfortable speaking directly with business owners and executives without needing to escalate every question.

  • Resilience & Composure: You bounce back quickly from tough calls or lost renewals, resetting with a focus on solution-driven action.

  • Not Easily Offended: You handle direct feedback and frustrated clients with poise, grace under pressure, and thick skin.

  • Smart & Curious: Quick to grasp digital marketing channels, fast on your feet, and eager to learn how franchise business models make money.

  • Hungry & Accountable: You take personal pride in error-free work, own your outcomes, and bring a continuous appetite to learn and advance within Ignite Visibility.

Qualifications & Required Experience

Must-Have (Required):

  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in digital marketing client services, B2B account management, sales/customer success, OR a marketing degree with relevant agency internship experience.

  • Commercial Mindset: Demonstrated understanding of revenue, retention, and how digital marketing directly impacts business outcomes.

  • Proactive Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with an ability to communicate rapidly and effectively across multiple stakeholders.

  • Data Literacy: Comfort interpreting performance metrics, campaign data, and CRM platforms during client calls.

  • Growth Mindset: High coachability, active feedback seeking, and a strong drive to continuously expand digital marketing knowledge.

  • Location: Must be a legal resident residing in one of the 50 United States.

Nice-To-Have:

  • Exposure to franchise, co-op, or multi-location/multi-site marketing operations.

  • Hands-on experience with project management platforms (Slack, Monday.com, Outlook, Google Suite).

  • Familiarity with franchise management platforms (e.g., Acquire™, DevHub) and CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce).

  • Experience assisting with QBR prep, upsell discussions, or proposal development.
