POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Works directly with Radiologists, staff and various resources. Maintains consistent, efficient workflow with the goal of completing daily work by end of day.
  • Accurately schedules recall breast exams, mammography biopsies, fine needle localization and stereotactic biopsies with patients or referring offices. Demonstrates in-depth understanding of breast imaging guidelines. Accurately enters breast biopsy information into the Outlook calendar, to reflect correct patient information, pertinent clinical information and referring physicians.
  • Ensures all necessary information is in the Jefferson Radiology Information System (RIS) on all scheduled Mammography exams, breast ultrasounds and breast biopsies. Reviews requisitions for appropriate clinical information to determine proper study for Mammography exams.
  • Works with the referring physician offices to acquire missing requisitions, obtain verbal orders if necessary and to confirm correct clinical information.
  • Adheres to all policies and procedures, including Compliance, HIPAA, OSHA, and licensing and accreditation guidelines.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Associate's degree or equivalent required, with 3+ years of medical office experience (radiology preferred).
  • Experience managing physician schedules or facilitating physician workflow is preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and radiology subspecialties is required.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong general computer skills required.

COMPENSATION & TOTAL REWARDS
The hourly range for this position is $18.00-$24.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. Final compensation is determined based on education, experience, certifications, and geographic factors.

Pay Transparency:
The hourly range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. In addition to this range, Radiology Partners offers competitive total rewards packages, which include possible incentive and productivity programs, health & wellness coverage options, 401k benefits, and a broad range of other benefits such as family planning and telehealth (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
