Government Training Engineering - Manufacturing Engineer (Associate and Experienced)

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking Associate (Level 2) and Experienced (Level 3) Manufacturing Engineers to join the Government Training Engineering (GTE) Production Engineering team supporting Air Dominance programs in Hazelwood, MO and Oklahoma City, OK.

In this role, you will be part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional engineering team responsible for transforming complex technical requirements into executablebuild plans and digital work instructionsfor advanced military training systems. These systems include:

  • High-fidelityaircraftcrewstation simulators

  • Aircraft-representative maintenance trainers

  • High-resolution visual systemsand immersive technologies

  • Computing andcustomerfacilitiesinfrastructure

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in improvingcommonality, manufacturability, and efficiencyacross sub-assembly, final assembly, and installation activities. Your contributionsto the production systemwill directly support the successful, on-time delivery of mission-critical training solutions to our customers.

This is an exciting opportunity for engineers who are energized by solving complex productionsystemchallenges, working oncutting-edgeflight simulationtraining technologies, and making a meaningful impact on systems that prepare operators and maintainers for mission success.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Create andmaintainbuild plans,model basedworkinstructions, andassociated digital assets for manufacturing execution

  • Identifyand mitigate manufacturing risks

  • Integrate advanced digital tools into production workflows

  • Define and document Production System requirements and best practices

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production systems

  • Collaborate closely with design engineering, manufacturing operations, tooling, quality, safety, and PLM/PDM teams

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

  • 1+ years' experience in manufacturing engineering role

  • 1+ years' experience supporting cross-functional or cross organizational teams within engineering and/or test

  • 1+ years' experience in integration with PLM/MES in a make to stock or make to order environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)

  • Ability to perform engineering analysis of design for manufacturability, assembly, and product support requirements

  • Basic knowledge and hands-on experience with Boeing internal PDM systems (GOLDespand Prime-R)

  • Experience creating Model Based Instruction (MBIs) in Siemens Teamcenter Visualization

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills applied to manufacturing process improvements and technology integration

  • Exposure to aerospace manufacturing standards and regulated environments
