Internship Overview
As an Engineering Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers and manufacturing professionals to support key initiatives within our production operations. This hands-on opportunity provides exposure to real-world engineering challenges in welding, fabrication, assembly, paint, automation, process improvement, and production support.
Throughout the internship, you'll gain valuable experience applying engineering principles, analyzing manufacturing processes, and contributing to projects that improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
What You'll Do
Manufacturing Engineering Support
โ€ข Support engineering projects within manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, welding, and paint operations.
โ€ข Assist engineering teams with process evaluations, implementation activities, and operational improvements.
โ€ข Support production operations through data collection, analysis, and troubleshooting activities.
Process Improvement & Analysis
โ€ข Assist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of process improvements.
โ€ข Analyze production data to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
โ€ข Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
โ€ข Support efforts to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and improve operational performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
โ€ข Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Safety teams to support organizational objectives.
โ€ข Participate in team meetings, project reviews, and operational discussions.
โ€ข Communicate project progress and recommendations to stakeholders.
Technical Documentation & Reporting
โ€ข Create and maintain engineering documentation, reports, work instructions, and technical drawings.
โ€ข Assist with preparation of project summaries, presentations, and process documentation.
โ€ข Maintain accurate records related to assigned engineering projects and initiatives.
Problem Solving & Production Support
โ€ข Participate in troubleshooting equipment, process, and production-related issues.
โ€ข Assist engineering personnel in identifying root causes and developing corrective actions.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing
    Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Must be actively pursuing an engineering degree throughout the internship period.
  • Expected graduation date must be December 2027 or later.
  • Candidates who have already graduated or who will graduate before December 2027 are not eligible.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar programs.
  • Exposure to manufacturing, automation, robotics, or production environments.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Prior internship, project, laboratory, or hands-on engineering experience.
