Job Description

  • This role focuses on precision cleanroom assembly of catheter components used in the brain to help prevent aneurysms.
  • You will spend most of your time working under a microscope, using small hand tools to assemble very small parts such as coiling wire and small tubing. Consistent attendance, attention to detail, and the ability to work long hours in a cleanroom environment are critical to success in this position.

  • Contractors generally work about 40 to 45 hours per week, with the expectation of long shifts and frequent overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble small catheter components in a cleanroom environment according to detailed procedures and quality standards.
  • Work under a microscope for extended periods to perform fine, detailed assembly work.
  • Use small hand tools to handle, position, and assemble tiny parts, including coiling wire and small tubing.
  • Follow all cleanroom protocols, including gowning procedures and contamination control practices.
  • Maintain high levels of quality and accuracy while meeting production goals and timelines.
  • Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality, especially during the first 90 days of employment.
  • Participate in and pass a hands-on assessment to demonstrate basic assembly and hand tool skills.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to work under a microscope for long periods of time.
  • Proficiency using small hand tools for detailed assembly work.
  • Capability to work long hours, including extended shifts and frequent overtime.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise, repetitive tasks.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality, especially within the first 90 days.
  • Ability to pass a hand assessment test to demonstrate fine motor and assembly skills.
  • Comfort working in a cleanroom environment and following strict procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior manufacturing or production experience is strongly preferred.
  • Openness to entry-level candidates who can demonstrate strong hand skills and dependability.
  • Willingness to learn and improve performance over time.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships while maintaining quality and productivity.

Why Work Here?

  • The organization offers a path from contract to permanent employment for individuals who demonstrate strong attendance, quality, and performance.
  • Once hired on permanently, employees receive comprehensive benefits, including 100% coverage of their own benefits and partial coverage for their immediate family, along with a 401(k), paid time off, and holiday pay.
  • The leadership values effort, dependability, and continuous learning rather than expecting instant expertise, and they provide multiple chances for those who show commitment and improvement.

Work Environment
