JOB DESCRIPTION:

Analyzes an organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documents its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology with distinct deliverables to a solution. Business Analysis & Project Support

Assist with gathering, documenting, and analyzing business and technical requirements. Support project managers and business teams in coordinating project activities, timelines, and deliverables. Create and maintain user stories, process documentation, workflow diagrams, and business process maps. Help facilitate meetings, status updates, and communication between technical teams and business stakeholders. Utility Technology & Digital Transformation Support digital transformation initiatives involving enterprise repositories, workflows, mapping systems, and operational tools.

Assist with backlog management and project tracking using Azure DevOps or similar platforms. Coordinate testing activities, issue tracking, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support. Assist with reporting, data validation, and operational process improvements.

Documentation & Communication Develop professional presentations, reports, SOPs, and training documentation for business and leadership audiences.

Create workflow diagrams and technical documentation using Visio or similar tools.

Communicate clearly and professionally with technical teams, management, and business users.

Data & Technology Support Support data migration, validation, and automation initiatives using tools such as Python, SQL, or Oracle databases.

Assist with organizing and maintaining enterprise records and repositories.

Participate in technology implementation efforts and process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor s degree completed or in progress in: Computer Science Information Systems Business Analytics Engineering Related technical field Strong internship or co-op experience within a utility company environment Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and self-management abilities Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and determination Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines Experience with: Microsoft Office Suite PowerPoint Excel Visio Azure DevOps (preferred) Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams Preferred Skills Experience with: Python SQL Oracle databases Figma Workflow/process mapping QA/UAT coordination Exposure to GIS, mapping systems, or enterprise utility applications is a plus. Experience supporting digital transformation or operational improvement initiatives preferred.
