  • Participate in IT improvement initiatives and special projects.
  • Follow organizational security policies and help promote cybersecurity best practices.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and shift focus as priorities change.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment.

Qualifications:

  • Education, training, or practical experience in information technology, computer science, cybersecurity, management information systems, or a related area. This may include a college degree, professional experience, technical certifications, internships, volunteer work, independent projects, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Linux, Google Workspace, and basic command-line tools.
  • Willingness and ability to learn and use AI-powered tools to improve productivity, automation, documentation, troubleshooting, and workflow efficiency.

Preferred Skills Include:

  • Experience with a ticketing system or IT documentation platform.
  • Exposure to server administration, virtualization, or web hosting control panels.
  • Help desk, campus IT, internship, or volunteer technical support experience.
