To support our 20,000+ employees across 176 offices globally, we provide the environments and systems that enable collaboration, productivity, and flexibility.
The Bloomberg Financial Solutions department, with over 5,000 employees, is dedicated to ensuring the success of our clients and our people. Our teams span sales, service, operations, culture, and brand, all aligned around a common goal: building meaningful client relationships by understanding their needs and delivering exceptional support from implementation through ongoing partnership.
Our Team
The Portfolio Buy-Side Implementation team is responsible for onboarding new and existing clients to PORT Enterprise, Bloomberg's portfolio and risk management solution. Key responsibilities include pre-sales engagement, data ingestion setup, workflow configuration, and analytics reconciliation.

What's the role?
As a PORT Implementation Specialist, you will lead end-to-end client onboarding for PORT Enterprise across the Americas. You will partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to understand client workflows, configure solutions, and ensure a successful implementation.
This role combines relationship management, project execution, and technical problem-solving. You will manage implementation timelines, deliver client training, and support data validation and reconciliation efforts. Travel may be required to support client engagements.
You'll need to have
  • 5+ years of experience at a buy-side financial institution or in financial engineering/structuring
  • Strong understanding of portfolio management, risk, and attribution workflows
  • Deep knowledge of portfolio analytics across fixed income, equities, and derivatives
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to different audiences
  • Experience working with Engineering teams on technical and data-related challenges
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience delivering client-facing training

We'd love to see
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree; CFA is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ownership mindset with the ability to drive issues through to resolution
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and workflows
  • Technical skills such as Python, APIs, and SFTP
