Summary of Role/Position

We are looking for a sharp, curious Business Analyst to sit within the Office of the COO and serve as a trusted analytical partner across our merchandising and operations teams. This is a high-visibility, on-site role with direct access to senior leadership — ideal for a recent graduate or early-career analyst with strong technical skills and a drive to make an impact. You will own end-to-end analytics projects, surface opportunities, and help drive decisions that shape the business.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with merchandising and operations leaders to define analytical priorities and translate business questions into structured analyses.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI frameworks in Tableau and Excel that give leadership real-time visibility into performance.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, join, and transform data across our data warehouse.
  • Develop Python scripts and pipelines for data cleaning, automation, and exploratory analysis.
  • Conduct analyses on assortment performance, sell-through rates, inventory efficiency, vendor trends, and operational bottlenecks.
  • Present findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences, including the COO.
  • Identify data quality issues and work cross-functionally to resolve them at the source.

Who You Are

  • A recent graduate or early-career analyst eager to grow in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
  • Comfortable owning a project from raw data all the way to a polished executive summary.
  • You ask good questions before diving into the data — and better questions after.
  • You communicate clearly and can tailor a story to your audience.
  • Naturally curious about retail, merchandising, and operations.

You Must Have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis (pandas, NumPy, etc.).
  • Strong SQL skills — comfortable writing complex queries.
  • Experience building dashboards and visualizations in Tableau.
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data modeling.
  • Internship, project, or coursework experience applying these tools to real business problems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with R for statistical analysis or modeling.
  • Background or coursework in merchandising, retail, supply chain, or financial analytics.
  • Familiarity with statistical methods: regression, hypothesis testing, or forecasting.
  • Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, or similar BI tools.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position based on job experience, education level, global geographic region, etc: $90,000-$100,000
