Job Description Summary
As the Engineering Intern for the Colibrium Additive Process & Validation team, you will support the maturation of our next generation additive printing technologies. You will work closely with process, validation, software, and design teams in a hands on lab and machine environment.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
  • Work in a hands-on environment to support machine, customer application, material and process development activities.
  • Support the development and refinement of machine processes and material parameters to maximize part yield, quality, and throughput
  • Conduct statistical analysis of machine and process data to identify trends, gaps versus requirements, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support test campaigns on additive printers to validate compliance to system and part requirements (performance, reliability, and quality).
  • Participate in root cause analysis of machine and process issues, partnering with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's of Master's Degree program at an accredited university. Degrees focused on Mechanical, Electrical, Material Sciences, Computer Sciences or other relevant STEM majors.
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA off a 4.0 scale without rounding.

  • Systems and hardware interest: Interest in hands-on work with machines, test setups, sensors, and instrumentation.
  • Communication and teamwork: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
