The DCS Air and Space Technology Sector are seeking a qualified candidate to apply advanced knowledge in the areas of MBSE engineering, computer science, and information technology for the technical design, development, and maintenance of complex programming projects supporting the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC).

As a member of our team, you will support U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) efforts in Dayton, OH. This offers opportunities to work in a dynamic environment, with state-of-the-art technologies and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to develop solutions to unique client needs in research and development to improve the performance envelope of software and/or hardware systems and architecture, as well as processing performance.

Model systems and employ those models in direct support of the NASIC/NSIC mission. Candidates will also contribute to the design and development of AI/ML pipelines that assist analysts in generating, validating, and enhancing model‑based systems engineering (MBSE) products, enabling more efficient model creation, improved data consistency, and accelerated analytic workflows. Candidates will lead the efforts of junior model-based systems engineers. Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a technical team and have effective oral and written communication skills. Successful candidates will have strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.

Essential Job Functions:

Assist in the development of AI/ML automated MBSE pipelines from the analyst perspective.

Create system reference models.

Perform and lead system analysis.

Supervise the efforts of other model-based systems engineers.

Write analysis reports and develop briefings.

Work independently and in a team environment.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Applicants must have an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance, with SCI eligibility.

At a minimum, hold a bachelor’s degree in systems, electrical, aerospace, software, or mechanical engineering or similar degree with 12 or more years of relevant experience.

Desired Skills:

Master’s degree in engineering field or related certifications such as OCSMP Certifications, INCOSE CSEP, or Project Management PMP (among others).

Knowledge of the SysML 2.0 language update and experience translating models from SysML 1.x to 2.0.

Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, including Java, C++, or Python.

Experience with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), or other architecture frameworks.

Knowledge of aerospace/defense systems and processes.

Knowledge of modeling and simulation (M&S) tools and practices.

Master’s degree in engineering field or related certifications such as OCSMP Certifications, INCOSE CSEP, or Project Management PMP (among others).

Knowledge of SysML 2.0.

Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, including Java, C++, or Python.

Experience with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), or other architecture frameworks.
