Summary of Job Duties:The School of Engineering and Engineering Technology at the UA Little Rock is seeking to hire a graduate teaching assistant for the Spring 2023 semester. This position will support the teaching of courses/labs for the UA Little Rock BS in Mechanical Engineering program. Duties include grading for undergraduate courses, teaching support for laboratory courses, engineering, design, and fabrication support for program facilities development. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or closely equivalent/related field;
  • Regular admission intoa graduateprogram at UA Little Rock, or be a senior student in BSME with early entry admission into the UA Little Rock MSME program.

Job Duties and/or Responsibilities:

  • Grading for undergraduate courses;
  • Teaching support for laboratory courses;
  • Engineering, design, and fabrication support for program facilities development.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Computing Skills in Solidworks,Autocad, Ansys, Ansys Fluent, Python,Matlab.
