EquipmentShare is searching for a student intern to join the Financial Systems team at our Home Office in Columbia, MO for the 2026 summer.

Primary Responsibilities

Support the Financial Systems team in maintaining and optimizing the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for EquipmentShare's Lumber, Hardware, Industrial Tooling, Manufacturing, and Warehousing divisions.
Assist in the implementation and customization of system modules to meet the company's financial needs.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving system issues and liaising with technical support when necessary.
Contribute to documentation development, including user manuals and standard operating procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial, customer, supplier, and product data for system integration.
Stay informed about industry trends and ERP software development
Analyze a wide range of data and turn that data into action, whether that looks like process improvements, best business practices, or other data-backed solutions.
Produce reports and models for senior leaders and other key team members.

About You

  • Must be qualified to work in the United States - we are not sponsoring candidates at this time.
    Studying to achieve a bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Accounting/Finance, or a related field.
    Basic understanding of financial principles and business processes.
    Familiarity with the Lumber and Building Materials or Warehouse and Shipping industries and concepts.
    Familiarity with ERP systems and their functionalities is a plus.
    Expert-level Excel skills
    SQL experience, combined with visualization experiences in Looker, Tableau, etc...
    Exposure to an analytical language like Python, R, SAS, SPSS, etc. preferred
    Proficient in the use of the Google Suite.
    Proven ability to approach complex problems with curiosity and an analytical mindset.
