Job Overview:
As an Engineer 2, you will leverage your technical expertise to solve complex business problems. This role requires a subject matter expert who can represent their department on intricate assignments. You will evaluate technology effectiveness through requirements gathering, testing, research, and investigation, and recommend improvements to enhance quality and efficiency. Collaborating with technical leadership, you will design, develop, and modify the technology stack, while working with engineers and architects to implement solutions. Responsibilities:
  • Build and implement new development tools and infrastructure to meet requirements and architectural direction.
  • Understand stakeholder needs and identify steps to achieve solutions and goals.
  • Automate and improve development and release processes.
  • Code, perform unit and integration testing, and ensure compliance with business and technical requirements.
  • Resolve production application issues to ensure efficient functionality.
  • Collaborate with managers and team members to meet development standards.
  • Build and maintain code pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) using Groovy and Python.
  • Resolve CI/CD issues by reviewing logs and metrics.
  • Test and analyze code written by others.
