Job Description/ Responsibilities :
We are seeking a Senior - API Vulnerability Data Engineer with 8+ years of experience to join our TVM team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for API Vulnerability Management lead responsible for maintaining the end to end lifecycle of API vulns inclusive of working with LOBs on remediation.
In this role, you will lead API Vulnerability Management efforts, maintaining the end-to-end lifecycle of API vulnerabilities inclusive of working with LOBs on remediation.
Key Responsibilities
API Vulnerability Management
• Lifecycle Management: Maintain the end-to-end lifecycle of API vulnerabilities from discovery to remediation.
• LOB Coordination: Work with Lines of Business on vulnerability remediation strategies.
• Risk Reporting: Provide enterprise reporting on API security risks.
Data Engineering
• Data Curation: Curate vulnerability data for enterprise-wide reporting and analysis.
• Metrics Development: Develop and maintain vulnerability metrics and dashboards.
• Trend Analysis: Analyze vulnerability trends and provide actionable insights.
Technical Implementation
• API Security Tooling: Implement and maintain API security tools (Akamai or similar).
• Integration: Integrate API security tools with existing security infrastructure.
• Automation: Develop automation for vulnerability tracking and reporting.
Required Technical Skills & Qualifications
• Experience: 8+ years of experience in API security or vulnerability management.
• APIs & Vulnerability Management: BAs - 3-5 years with APIs and vulnerability management, Working familiarity with Akamai or similar API Security tooling
• API Security Tools: Working familiarity with Akamai or similar API Security tooling.
• Programming: Hands-on experience with Python and Javascript.
