Job Summary:
RIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking an API Developer to focus on API development using Python and Node.js. The role requires experience in building APIs and working with data warehousing concepts, specifically with Snowflake.
Responsibilities:
• This position is initially solely focused on API Development with Python and Node.js.
• Need to be able to hook up and put raw data into snowflake.
• Work more on the API side of getting the data entered using snowflake should be done with them (APIs).
• API Developer should have some data warehousing knowledge, not necessarily building the DWH but smartly feeding the DWH.
• Building APIs and move data using snowflake.
• Deprecating the C# apps that they have. All of it is JavaScript, python based.
• There is one C# application so C# experience would be helpful.
• Experience would be helpful in DevOps.
• Knowledge of using APIs that feed through Cosmos dB.
• Pushing/Pulling Data from Snowflake, but do NOT need to build any Data Pipelines.
• Mostly Internal APIs from Data Storages.
• Azure Experience (Function Apps, DevOps, Pipelines, Terraform) -- Their Azure DevOps org is still fresh, would like this resource to eventually help in this space.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience in API Development with Python and Node.js
• Knowledge of data warehousing
• Ability to work with APIs to feed data into Snowflake
• Experience in building APIs
• Familiarity with Azure (Function Apps, DevOps, Pipelines, Terraform)
• Experience with JavaScript
