NEO Surgical Group is a rapidly growing Florida-based multidisciplinary medical organization providing orthopedic care, spine surgery, pain management, rehabilitation, diagnostic imaging, and surgical services through a network of locations across Florida.

With clinics in Orlando, Kissimmee, Jacksonville, Tampa, Winter Haven, Port Charlotte, and Fort Myers, we are investing heavily in the growth of our Workers' Compensation division and are seeking an experienced leader to build, develop, and scale this service line throughout the state.

  • Develop and lead NEO Surgical Group's Workers' Compensation division throughout Florida.
  • Identify, pursue, negotiate, and manage participation with Workers' Compensation networks, carriers, TPAs, managed care organizations, self-insured employers, and employer groups.

    • Authorizations
    • Medical Records
    • Work Status Reporting
    • Communication Standards
    • Referral Management
    • Billing Coordination
    • Patient Follow-Up
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, clinic leadership, surgery centers, imaging departments, rehabilitation providers, and billing teams.
  • Ensure injured workers receive timely, coordinated, high-quality care.
Leadership & Performance Management
  • Monitor and analyze:
    • Referral Volume
    • Authorization Turnaround Times
    • Conversion Rates
    • Reimbursement Performance
    • Denials
    • Accounts Receivable
    • Department Profitability
  • Develop performance metrics and reporting processes.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise future Workers' Compensation coordinators and support staff.

    • Orthopedic or Spine Healthcare
    • Pain Management

    • Managed Care
  • Demonstrated success generating Workers' Compensation referrals or obtaining network participation.
  • Existing experience working with:
    • Carriers
    • TPAs
    • Adjusters
    • Nurse Case Managers
    • Employers
    • Managed Care Organizations
    • Provider Networks
  • Strong understanding of the complete Workers' Compensation patient lifecycle, including:
    • Referrals
