About the Role
We are seeking a Process Engineer I to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Jupiter, Florida. In this role, you will support the development, optimization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes used to fabricate and assemble advanced jet engine components. Working alongside experienced engineering and production teams, you will help ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality, cost, and performance.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes for the fabrication and assembly of jet engine components and assemblies.
  • Apply engineering principles to determine the most efficient sequence of manufacturing operations.
  • Create and maintain standard work instructions, operation sheets, process documentation, and manufacturing procedures.
  • Perform engineering calculations, including cycle time estimates, equipment capacity analyses, and process capability evaluations.
  • Monitor production operations to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Analyze production data to identify process inefficiencies, quality concerns, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support troubleshooting of manufacturing issues and collaborate with production, quality, and manufacturing engineering teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in process validation activities and continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
  • Assist with implementation of new manufacturing methods, tooling, equipment, and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, and applicable aerospace standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to government program requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Internship, co-op, or professional experience in manufacturing or aerospace engineering.
  • Experience supporting aerospace, aviation, gas turbine, or jet engine manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience developing manufacturing work instructions or process documentation.
  • Exposure to ERP/MRP systems and engineering documentation systems.
