• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, including crisis assessments and ongoing follow-up care for clients in various settings.
• Determine and coordinate client care according to assessed mental health needs, ensuring the individual receives appropriate services.
• Complete mandated reports and documentation accurately and timely to maintain compliance and facilitate treatment planning.
• Collaborate with correctional personnel and institutional programs to optimize client access to treatment and support.
• Lead group therapy sessions within designated units, enabling clients to benefit from peer support and shared experiences.
• Engage in clinical supervision at least once per week to enhance professional development and obtain guidance on complex cases.
• Participate in case conferences, offering insights and contributing to comprehensive case management for clients.
• Facilitate psychological testing as required and supervise social work interns or student volunteers when assigned.
• Perform additional duties as required by clinical supervisors or administrative leaders to support the overall mission of the organization.

You will primarily work with individuals who are incarcerated or at risk of incarceration, as well as those facing severe mental health issues and substance use disorders. Your expertise will help guide these individuals through treatment, providing vital support during critical transitions. By focusing on clients with complex behavioral health needs, you will work to create a safe environment that fosters recovery and rehabilitation.

• A valid, state-issued license as either an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
• A Master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• At least two years of full-time, paid professional experience providing direct client care in a behavioral health setting, along with three additional years of post-licensure experience.

• Experience in conducting assessments and treatment planning for individuals with behavioral issues, substance use histories, and serious mental health disorders.
• Background in inpatient treatment settings or correctional facilities, enhancing your capability to navigate complex systems.
• Experience witnessing positive patient outcomes resulting from effective therapy, demonstrating a strong commitment to helping others on their recovery journeys.

Bloomingdale Psychotherapy Center offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
