How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Conduct expert phone triage to identify chief complaints and symptoms, prioritizing urgent needs and critical results for immediate action.
  • Partner with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans and deliver timely instructions to patients.
  • Streamline clinic operations by managing medication refills, securing prior authorizations, and providing direct support to providers.
  • Triage urgent patient needs, critical results, review testing and lab results
  • Schedule for specialized procedures while providing comprehensive patient education regarding testing and preparation.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

What additional preferences we're seeking
  • Must have 3 to 5 years of RN experience in Cardio, ER, Critical Care or Tele.
