Position Overview

Opti Flex Therapeutics is actively seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Cape Coral, Florida. This full-time role requires a compassionate professional who is committed to helping patients overcome injuries, diseases, and the challenges post-surgery. As an integral part of our rehabilitation center, you will be hands-on in creating tailored treatment plans that maximize recovery and improve mobility in patients of all ages.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in the beautiful Cape Coral area. You will be working closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals motivated to make a difference in their patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' physical abilities and medical histories to diagnose issues affecting mobility and quality of life.
  • Design and implement customized treatment plans incorporating a variety of therapeutic methods such as exercises, stretching techniques, manual therapy, and equipment application.
  • Monitor patient progress through systematic tracking and documentation, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to ensure maximum recovery potential.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapy processes, including the proper use of assistive devices for daily activities and ambulation.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members, providing insights and updates on patients’ conditions and collaborating on joint treatment approaches.
  • Maintain cutting-edge professional knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing literature, and networking with peers within the physical therapy community.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The scope of work involves treating a wide array of orthopedic conditions affecting children and adults, often focusing on rehabilitation following orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain disorders. Your ability to tailor treatment to individual needs will directly impact patient recovery and enhance their overall quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
  • A valid State License in Physical Therapy is mandatory to practice in Florida.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential for patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Proficiency in using word processing and other computer systems for documentation.
  • A flexible and adaptable mindset to respond effectively to the diverse needs of patients.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
