This position is based onsite at our modern outpatient facility located in the beautiful coastal town of Destin, Florida. Flexible scheduling options are available, allowing you to choose your own hours within a Monday to Friday workweek.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Opti Flex Therapeutics, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to establish their physical therapy needs and create individualized treatment plans.
• Administer a range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and modality interventions aimed at improving patient mobility and reducing pain.
• Implement progressive rehabilitation goals by continuously assessing patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment sessions, and progress in our electronic health record system, ensuring accurate and efficient communication within the care team.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and strategies for maintaining long-term health and wellness.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment for each patient.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry practices by attending relevant training sessions and professional workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and various musculoskeletal disorders. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in their recovery process, supporting each patient in achieving their functional goals and restoring their independence.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to foster relationships with patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records systems and word processing applications.
• A flexible, adaptable approach to work and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

Prior clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred but not essential. We welcome recent graduates eager to embark on a fulfilling career in physical therapy. Mentorship opportunities will be provided to guide new therapists through their initial professional experiences.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
