  • Translate complex information, messaging, and organizational priorities into clear and engaging visual communications.
  • Adapt creative concepts across multiple formats and channels while maintaining visual consistency.

Print & Production

  • Prepare accurate, production-ready files for commercial printing, signage, promotional products, advertising, and other applications.
  • Work directly with printers, vendors, photographers, and other creative partners to obtain specifications, troubleshoot production issues, review proofs, and ensure quality.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Proof and review final materials for visual consistency, accuracy, and production quality.

Creative Collaboration

  • Partner with other departments to understand project goals and develop effective creative solutions.
  • Contribute ideas and visual strategy during campaign and project planning.
  • Provide design expertise and recommendations regarding creative approach, format, production, and visual communication.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and project oversight to graphic design interns as assigned.
  • Stay current on design trends, tools, technologies, accessibility considerations, and production practices relevant to HSTB’s communications.

QUALIFICATIONS
