Summer Healthcare (2 Week) Internship for EMTs & Nursing Students
Are you an EMT, nursing student, pre-med student, or healthcare professional looking for a summer job or internship where you can gain real-world experience?
Mets Baseball & Softball Camps is hiring Camp Nurse / EMT Staff to provide on-site medical care and health supervision for youth summer camps in New Canaan and Fairfield, Connecticut this summer
This is a unique opportunity to build hands-on patient care experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities (Medical-Focused)
  • Provide first aid and basic medical care to campers and staff
  • Respond to injuries, illnesses, and health-related incidents
  • Manage medications and allergies (including EpiPens)
  • Maintain accurate medical and incident records
  • Communicate with parents regarding health concerns
  • Conduct daily health checks and monitor camper well-being
  • Ensure a safe and proactive health environment
Who We're Looking For
  • EMTs, nursing students, pre-med students, or healthcare professionals
  • Must be CPR/AED and First Aid certified
  • Strong interest in healthcare, medicine, or patient care
  • Comfortable working independently in a camp setting
  • Experience working with children is a plus (not required)
  • Responsible, calm under pressure, and detail-oriented
Schedule & Commitment
  • Monday-Friday (~8-hour days)
  • Must be available the following weeks and able to commute:
    • August 10-14 - New Canaan
    • August 17-21 - Fairfield
