This position offers a clear path for professional development, with the goal of transitioning into a Senior Outside Technical Sales Specialist role. As part of the power and motor control specialist portfolio, you will be responsible for; Motor Control Centers, Variable Frequency Drives and associated complementary product and solution offerings. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales Development: * Build relationships with new and existing customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. * Identify opportunities to grow sales within assigned territories by prospecting, networking, and following up on leads. * Assist in preparing and delivering technical presentations to customers, showcasing the value of our products and services. Technical Expertise: * Develop a strong understanding of the company’s product portfolio, including electrical, automation, and energy solutions. * Collaborate with technical teams to provide accurate and effective solutions to customer challenges. * Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings. Who Are You * Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, power engineering or related discipline) or an Electrical Technologist diploma. * 1-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a technical role (internships or co-op experience considered). * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers. * Technical aptitude and willingness to learn about complex products and solutions. * Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to take on challenges. * Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory. * Experience in the electrical, automation, or energy industries. * Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools. * Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
