Materials and Process Engineer

What you will enjoy doing*

  • You will work closely with the production teams to ensure manufacturing issues are resolved and production schedules are maintained
  • Also, you will utilize your expertise to identify and address any product quality or safety issues
  • Further you will engage with others to lead productivity efforts to improve efficiencies focused on product yield and reduction of waste
  • You will use your technical background to create, update and publish product manufacturing instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
  • In addition, you will partner with material coordinators and production leadership to ensure materials resourcing to prevent production interruptions
  • You will drive contingency actions by providing technical leadership and training to resolve both customer and production related issues

What makes you great

  • You will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Material Science, Metallurgy or relevant field of study with 0-3 years of working knowledge
  • Powder Metallurgy experience and/or interest highly preferred
  • Plant Process knowledge or manufacturing experience is preferred
  • Previous internship experience strongly preferred
  • You possess the ability to problem solve through analytical processes and have effective time-management skills
  • You should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
