Position Summary
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver individualized treatment programs that improve strength, mobility, function, and overall quality of life.
You'll play a vital role in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals while providing encouragement, education, and compassionate care throughout their recovery journey.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate clinical observations
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure outstanding patient care
  • Foster a positive, motivating environment that encourages patient success
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program
  • Current Wyoming PTA license (or eligibility to obtain prior to employment)
  • Completion of all required clinical internships
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
