The Warehouse Associate Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations by coordinating daily activities, verifying load accuracy, and supporting inventory and safety standards. This position serves as a frontline leader, providing guidance, coaching, and operational support to warehouse associates while driving productivity, quality, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced distribution environment. 

Responsibilities
  • Schedule: This position follows a Monday through Friday or Tuesday to Saturday schedule and is currently assigned to the second shift (3:30 PM-12:30 AM). The schedule may transition to the third shift (6:00 PM-3:00 AM) based on business needs
  • Coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of products.
  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates by providing direction, training, and performance feedback.
  • Verify pallet integrity, load accuracy, and inventory transactions to maintain operational quality standards.
  • Assign and prioritize daily work activities to meet productivity and customer service objectives.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues while communicating effectively with leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, warehouse procedures, and quality standards.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in accordance with company policies and certifications.
  • Support inventory accuracy through proper tracking, documentation, and reconciliation of warehouse activities.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Provide shift coverage and operational support as business needs require.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $43,500 - $69,400.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience.
  • 1+ year of experience operating forklifts or other Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT).
  • 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work the second shift (3:30 PM-12:30 AM).
  • Flexibility to transition to the third shift (6:00 PM-3:00 AM) based on business needs.
  • Ability to work weekends as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse activities, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience as a Team Lead, Warehouse Coordinator, Trainer, or Junior Supervisor.
  • Experience leading or coordinating a team of 5 or more employees.
  • Experience with inventory control, load verification, or pallet certification.
  • Experience working in a distribution center or high-volume warehouse environment.
  • Forklift certification preferred (if applicable).
