Your expertise will help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence while ensuring optimal recovery outcomes.

About the Organization

Patient Plus Therapy is committed to transforming therapeutic care through innovation, education, and community engagement. With a focus on providing exceptional physical therapy in a supportive and collaborative environment, we prioritize the well-being and growth of both our patients and our team members. Our mission extends beyond patient care; we aim to inspire future healthcare professionals and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Work Environment

Our Roanoke facility is designed for an interactive therapy experience, equipped with advanced rehabilitation tools and technology to support our therapists in delivering effective treatments. Our onsite clinics promote teamwork and collaboration among healthcare providers, creating a vibrant, inclusive atmosphere that values diversity and encourages professional relationships. Working Monday through Friday allows for a consistent schedule while providing flexibility to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations including patient history review, performance testing, and assessments to establish effective treatment plans.
  • Clearly communicate evaluation results and tailor treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families, ensuring goals are aligned with patient expectations.
  • Utilize evidence-based treatment protocols and stay current with industry advancements to implement cutting-edge therapy techniques.
  • Engage with other healthcare professionals as needed, documenting and discussing any significant changes in patient conditions to adapt treatment strategies accordingly.
  • Oversee discharge planning and provide detailed follow-up care instructions, ensuring all documentation reflects each patient's progress and ongoing needs accurately.
  • Manage your schedule effectively to meet productivity goals while contributing to departmental initiatives, including marketing efforts that promote our services within the community.
  • Embrace a hands-on approach to professional growth by participating in continuing education opportunities and mentoring less experienced staff or interns.
  • Champion a positive patient experience by being responsive and adaptable to changes, promoting accessibility and quality care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Patient Plus Therapy, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Common cases include post-operative rehabilitation for joint replacements, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Your ability to create individualized treatment plans will directly impact your patients' recovery trajectories and overall well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) by the Virginia Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in an orthopedic or outpatient setting.
  • A valid CPR certification.
Preferred Experience

Experience with specific orthopedic rehabilitation techniques, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and a passion for mentorship are preferred. Additional certifications related to orthopedic therapy or sports rehabilitation will be considered a plus and enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive salaries, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • 401(k) retirement plan with company contributions.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Wellness programs aimed at promoting health and work-life balance.
  • Generous paid time off and holiday leave.
  • Funding for continuing education, workshops, and professional development courses.
  • A collaborative and supportive workplace culture dedicated to your success and fulfillment.
  • Access to the Employee Health Assistance Fund for additional support.
