Solution Engineer Principal
Location: Onsite at 1 Riverside Plaza, Columbus, OH 43215

Job Description

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver high quality service-oriented architecture-based application integration solutions using mainframe technologies, including COBOL, CICS, and JCL.
  • Design, develop, and install advanced software solutions while considering usage, architecture, functionality, and deployment.
  • Design, modify, develop, write, implement, troubleshoot, and lead testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software.
  • Develop solutions using Oracle Billing, Oracle Service Bus and Coherence Cache.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior team members.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field and 7 years of experience in software development using mainframe technologies, including COBOL, CICS and JCL, that includes 5 years of the following:

  • Designing and delivering SOA based application integration solutions in Agile environment applying utility billing and correspondence business rules, regulatory requirements, operations and transaction sets for meter processing bill determinants and bill calculation processes.
  • Developing solutions using Oracle CRM, Oracle Service Bus and Coherence Cache.
  • Designing technical solutions using Oracle SOA Suite 12c.
  • Applying design patterns and avoiding anti-patterns.
  • Working in complex integration projects, including integrations between legacy and cloud/distributed applications.
  • Developing solutions to automate customer metering & billing systems, including net metering.
  • Cryptography while handling customer data.
  • Developing solutions using Customer/1 platform.

What You'll Get:

Compensation Range: $126,478 - $158,383 annually
