The Specialty Pharmacy Liaison (SP Liaison) serves as the key connector between Specialty Pharmacies (SPs), Field Reimbursement Managers (FRMs), and HUB operations to support seamless patient access and timely therapy initiation. This role manages and tracks prescription flow across the SP network, ensuring efficient conversion to dispense and proactive resolution of access or fulfillment barriers.

What will you be doing?

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Specialty Pharmacies.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with SP partners to optimize patient experience and program performance.
  • Monitor and analyze SP performance metrics, including; Time to therapy, Benefits investigation turnaround, prior authorization approval rates, prescription conversion rates.
  • Ensure SP adherence to program requirements, including turnaround times, documentation standards, and patient outcomes.
  • Track patient progress within the Specialty Pharmacy Network, ensuring reconciliation.
  • Resolve escalated patient access, benefits and fulfillment issues in collaboration with SP partners.
  • Partner with FRMs to address provider and patient access barriers; serve as an escalation point for case issues.
  • Provide FRMs with insights on SP processes, payer dynamics, and access trends.
  • Partner with FRMs to identify trends in access challenges and develop coordinated solutions across territories.
  • Ensure data integrity and alignment between HUB systems and SP reporting.
  • Collaborate with HUB teams (case management, BI, PA, patient support) to ensure efficient case progression.
  • Communicate program updates, SP changes, and process enhancements to HUB teams.
  • Support training and continuous education for HUB teams on SP specific requirements and workflows.

What do you need for this position?

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in specialty pharmacy, HUB services, patient support, or reimbursement.
  • Strong knowledge of HUB operations, SP workflows, payer landscape, and access processes.
  • Experience working with FRMs or in provider-facing roles.
  • Direct experience with major SPs (e.g., Accredo, CVS Specialty, Optum, Walgreens) preferred.
  • Therapeutic area experience (e.g., oncology, rare disease, immunology, dermatology) preferred.
  • Relationship management and cross-functional collaboration

  • Strong communication and escalation management
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

The base pay range for this position is $28.00/hr – $52.00/hr. The final compensation offered to a successful candidate will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
