Job Summary

We are seeking an entry-level Industrial Controls Engineer focused on PC, PLC, and HMI programming for custom machinery projects. This role provides training and mentorship to develop programming skills for automation systems, including PC control, PLC logic and HMI interfaces. Ideal for recent graduates passionate about coding and industrial technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in commissioning equipment with supervision.
  • Help test and debug control programs.
  • Contribute to code creation for PC base controls systems.
  • Assist in programming under guidance of senior engineers.
  • Support development of HMI interfaces for operator interaction.
  • Maintain documentation for software and version control.
  • Collaborate with team members and contractors during installation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience 
  • 0-1+ years of experience 
  • Basic knowledge of programming concepts.
  • Strong interest in automation and programming.
  • Familiarity with Rockwell Studio 5000 or willingness to learn.
  • Travel:  30% - 50%
Preferred Skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exposure to industrial communication protocols.
  • Coursework or internship experience in PLC/HMI programming.
