Job description

The Division of Professional Studies prepares students for careers and transfer opportunities through programs in Business Administration, Computer Media Technology, Education, Hospitality, Visual Media Arts, Paralegal and Legal Studies, and Criminal Justice and Public Safety. Taught by experienced professionals and practitioners, programs combine industry expertise with academic instruction to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and critical thinking needed for success in today's workforce and continued education.

Internship, Apprenticeship, and Career Center (IAC) Mission

The Internship, Apprenticeship, and Career Center at Bunker Hill Community College connects and develops the diverse abilities, knowledge, and experience of the student population with internships and career opportunities in the Greater Boston community. The office collaborates with faculty, staff, and employers to bridge the student’s academic and workplace knowledge to become career-confident citizens in a global work environment.

BHCC is seeking dynamic adjunct faculty to teach Interdisciplinary internship course(s) in various pathways, develop course learning outcomes and academic curriculum beginning Fall Semester.

INT-299 Learn & Earn Internship (ONLINE/IN-PERSON/REMOTE)

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Master's degree in one of the following fields: Education, Teaching, Counseling Business, Accounting, Finance, Criminal Justice or closely related field.
  • Commitment to advancing equity and access in the classroom
  • College teaching experience, especially at community college level, preferred
  • Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Evidence of respect for and understanding of people with diverse backgrounds, abilities, and needs.

Additional Information:

Salary: $1,512.00 Per Credit Hour
