Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, or other hardware systems and/or electrical engineering applications.

  • Execute engineering projects and development of electromechanical systems including power distribution, vacuum systems, high voltage, control systems, robotics, safety interlocks and electro-static chuck technologies.

  • Ensures adherence to the development process including requirements planning, schedule estimates, concept reviews, design reviews, verification, and validation test plans.

  • Provide electrical engineering interface to the design services group and to offshore teams to deliver quality designs and on-time performance.

  • Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results.

  • Ensures designs meet design objectives as well as safety, industry (SEMI), and customer specific requirements.

  • Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.

  • May also review vendor capability to support product development.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience of electrical/electronic hardware design as an individual contributor.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience conducting technical design reviews with a larger group

  • Experience working with engineering change notices in formal change process

  • One or more of the following Experience: Systems engineering, High-voltage, RF power, PCB design, Power Distribution

  • Design skills with Altium, PADS, PSpice

  • Experience with Creo Schematic, Creo Cabling, AutoCad is a plus.

  • Windchill experience a plus

  • Semiconductor capital equipment experience a plus
