Only candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area will be considered for the position. While this is a work-from-home role, some travel to client locations will be required.
You Will:
  • Strategic Account Ownership: Drive the strategic technical account roadmap and engagement strategy for our large enterprise opportunities and customers.
  • Integration Strategy: Architect and lead integration strategies across customer accounts to drive horizontal expansion.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead deep technical engagements and build trusted relationships with senior technical stakeholders.
  • Solution Engineering: Craft and deliver high-impact technical presentations, architecturally sound demonstrations, and PoCs/PoTs that showcase Arango's competitive advantage against legacy NoSQL and ML/AI stacks.
  • Innovation & Evangelism: Build functional, real-world demos incorporating our core database and AI capabilities.
  • Thought Leadership & Community: Evangelize Arango's AI suite at industry events, webinars, and panel discussions; contribute to technical whitepapers, and provide critical product feedback to the wider community.
  • Client Success: Solve complex technical challenges for our clients by architecting optimal, reliable solutions.
Your Skills:
  • Experience & Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant experience; 10+ years in technical sales or consulting for enterprise AI, databases, big data systems, analytics, or machine learning.
  • Infrastructure & DevOps: Proven expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Data & AI Stack: Deep experience with vector/NoSQL databases, LLM integration, and RAG architectures.
  • Architecture: Strong ability to map complex business requirements to robust technical solutions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Fluency in Python, SQL, and experience with distributed database systems.
  • Sales Process: Strong understanding of the enterprise sales cycle.
  • Soft Skills: High-energy, tenacious team player with outstanding interpersonal skills, and a perpetual learner.
