Job description

Position Summary

The Marketing Intern will support the development and execution of marketing and communications initiatives that promote the organization's home health services, strengthen brand awareness, and support business development efforts. This position provides hands-on experience creating marketing materials, digital content, presentations, and communication templates while collaborating with leadership, sales, and operational teams.


This internship is designed for individuals seeking practical experience in healthcare marketing, graphic design, communications, or business administration.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of marketing and sales collateral, including brochures, flyers, leave-behinds, one-pagers, and promotional materials.
• Design and update PowerPoint presentation templates and presentation materials for leadership and business development teams.
• Develop and maintain newsletter templates and assist with internal and external communications.
• Create content for social media platforms, including graphics, posts, announcements, and promotional campaigns.
• Support brand consistency by ensuring all marketing materials align with company standards and messaging.
• Assist with editing, formatting, and proofreading marketing and communication materials.
• Organize and maintain marketing assets, templates, and digital content libraries.
• Collaborate with sales and operational leaders to develop materials that support referral source engagement and community outreach efforts.


Qualifications
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design platforms preferred.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Creative mindset with the ability to translate ideas into professional marketing materials.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
