Job description

Immel Construction is seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to support our marketing and business development efforts during a temporary leave period (September 2026 - March 2027). This role is ideal for someone with strong graphic design skills, a marketing mindset, and the ability to manage a variety of projects in a fast-paced, collaborative construction environment.

The Marketing Specialist will assist with social media content, proposal and prequalification materials, event and tradeshow support, internal communications, graphic design projects, photography, and other marketing initiatives that help promote Immel's people, projects, and brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, schedule, and monitor social media content for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, including holiday posts, project updates, employee recognition, event posts, and general engagement.
  • Support the development of marketing graphics, flyers, banners, email visuals, social media graphics, and other branded materials using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Assist business development and project teams with proposal responses, prequalification materials, interview presentations, and InDesign edits as needed.
  • Help prepare for tradeshows and events, including social media promotion, slideshow updates, booth materials, setup support, and day-of assistance when needed.
  • Assist with internal communications, including Immel's employee newsletter, company meeting materials, engagement committee graphics, and employee announcements.
  • Take and organize photos for jobsites, company events, employee headshots, and project marketing needs.
  • Support additional marketing projects such as website updates, promotional item research, employee resume updates, project database updates, and content development as time allows.

Qualifications

  • Strong graphic design skills with the ability to apply brand standards across print and digital materials.
  • Marketing, communications, graphic design, or related education or experience preferred.
  • Experience managing or creating content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong writing, proofreading, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, ask thoughtful questions, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with team members across the company.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys both creative and administrative marketing work. This person should be comfortable designing polished materials, writing clear and engaging content, coordinating details, and helping tell the story of Immel Construction's people, projects, and culture.

This position will require 10 - 15 hours per week and the work will be performed in-office at 2601 Development Drive in Green Bay. We are flexible on the actual work schedule!
