Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Systems Analyst to support engineering and technology programs at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross‑functional teams to analyze, design, and implement system solutions that enhance mission‑critical operations and ensure alignment with program objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and JT professionals to assess system requirements and develop solutions
  • Analyze current systems and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization
  • Support integration and testing of hardware/software systems across various NASA programs
  • Develop documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate system performance and recommendations
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in lab and operational environments
  • Maintain configuration control and ensure compliance with NASA standards and protocols
  • Participate in planning and execution of system upgrades and deployments
Qualifications (Education, Experience and Specialized Training)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in systems analysis, integration, or technical support (NASA or aerospace experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, system modeling, and documentation platforms
  • Preferred experience with lab operations, system testing, and configuration management
