Job description

About Tixr
Tixr's on a mission to transform the ticket buying experience with a modern approach to a legacy business. Born from a fan-focused frame of mind, we empower large-scale events, music venues, and sports properties with modern, innovative solutions to their highly-complex ticketing and e-commerce needs. Our unified commerce platform is built for big, supporting all types of events, from festivals to global arena tours, and an almost limitless suite of commerce offerings beyond admission tickets.
The Opportunity
We're looking for smart, curious interns who want hands-on experience inside a fast-growing live events company. This internship sits within our Client Services organization, which spans everything from day-to-day client relationships to technical implementation to how we teach the product itself.
We're less concerned about your major or title and more about how you think, how you learn, and how you show up. If you're naturally curious, excited to learn the inner workings of a live platform, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment, we want to meet you.
You'll pick a track based on your interests and background. Each one gives you real exposure to how a live ticketing platform actually runs, close mentorship from experienced team members, and visibility into decisions that matter.
Choose Your Track
Client Experience (CEM Track)
You'll get a front-row seat to how we manage relationships with some of the biggest names in live events. Expect to:
  • Shadow CEMs on client calls and get exposure to how relationships are managed day to day
  • Get real reps in our client support queue, learning how we prioritize, communicate, and resolve issues quickly
  • Support event builds on the platform and build the kind of quality-control instincts that keep client launches smooth
  • Help keep client records organized and current in Notion and HubSpot
  • Assist with drafting client-facing materials, from feature updates to account summaries

Technical Solutions (TSM Track)
You'll get exposure to the technical side of the platform and how we solve real client problems. Expect to:
  • Shadow TSMs on client builds and audits, learning to spot risks and inefficiencies
  • Help document common client questions, edge cases, and solutions to build out internal knowledge
  • Support testing of new features and help validate workflows before they ship
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to streamline or automate repetitive processes
  • Get exposure to onsite event support for select local events

Product Education & Knowledge
You'll help build the systems that teach our own team and our clients how to actually use the platform. This is a newer function at Tixr, so you'll have real room to shape it. Expect to:
  • Help build and update client-facing knowledge base content
  • Support the creation of reusable demo assets and training materials for feature launches
  • Assist in developing internal product certification content
  • Help produce client-facing resources like one-sheeters and reference guides
  • Get exposure to how we prepare the org for new feature launches from an education standpoint

You Might Be...
  • A student or recent grad looking for hands-on experience at a fast-growing startup
  • Naturally curious, someone who asks questions and digs until they understand how something actually works
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and figuring things out as you go, rather than needing a fixed playbook
  • Fluent in AI tools (ChatGPT, Notion AI, Claude, etc.) or eager to learn
  • A clear communicator who values both speed and thoughtfulness
  • Based in LA, or able to work on-site part of the time

Details
  • Flexible part-time or full-time schedule (approx. 20 to 40 hrs/week)
  • Duration: 3 months, with potential to extend or convert to full-time
  • Location: We'd love to have you at HQ in Santa Monica, but we're open to hybrid or remote depending on track and fit

Tixr is the largest, fastest-growing, privately-held primary ticketing and live event commerce marketplace in the world. We're a California born and bred company that's still founder owned and led to this day, and we support a global client base with staff throughout the US, Canada, and UK. We exclusively power 500 of the most respected live entertainment brands in 40 countries including Wynn Nightlife, Riot Fest, Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, Riot Games Arena, Luke Bryan's Crash My Playa, Sturgis Buffalo Chip, Lightning in a Bottle, Portland Trail Blazers' New G League Affiliate Rip City Remix, among many others.
