Job description

Job Title: Acquisition Analyst (Real Estate - Multifamily)


Location: Midtown Miami (100% in office, not remote/hybrid)


Salary: $80k - $90k base (might be slightly negotiable), plus 10-20% bonus


The Acquisition Analyst is a junior member on the acquisitions team, responsible for supporting the firmโ€™s deal sourcing, underwriting, market research, and transaction execution functions across

Florida, California, and Texas. This is an entry-to-mid level role designed for a driven, analytically strong professional who is early in their real estate career and eager to develop deep expertise in acquisitions and investment analysis. The Acquisition Analyst works directly alongside the Acquisition Associate and VP of Multifamily Acquisitions on live deals from day one, building financial models, researching markets, preparing investment materials, and supporting due diligence across all target markets.


Financial Underwriting & Modeling

  • Builds and maintains financial models for acquisition opportunities including cash flow projections, return calculations, and sensitivity analyses.
  • Assists with underwriting value-add business plans including renovation cost assumptions, rent growth projections, and exit strategies.
  • Analyzes rent rolls, T-12 operating statements, and historical financial performance for target acquisitions.
  • Supports modeling of debt structures, joint venture waterfalls, and capital stack scenarios under senior guidance.
  • Maintains and updates underwriting templates and model libraries to support deal team efficiency.


Other duties include: Market Research & Deal Screening, Due Diligence Support, Investment Materials & Reporting, Team & Administrative Support.


Education:

  • Required: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.


Experience:

  • 1โ€“3 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, investment banking, commercial real estate brokerage, or a related analytical role.
  • Exposure to multifamily or commercial real estate transactions preferred.
  • Internship experience in real estate investment, private equity, or financial services a strong plus.
