Pilatus PC-24 Second-in-Command (SIC)

flyADVANCED is seeking an experienced Pilatus PC-24 Second-in-Command to support our growing flight operation based at New Castle Airport (KILG) in New Castle, Delaware.

This position requires recent experience operating the Pilatus PC-24, including simulator-based training completed within the last 12 months.

• Recent PC-24 simulator training within the last 12 months
ATP Certificate and First-Class Medical Certificate
1,000+ hours total flight time
• Ability to reside within approximately two hours of the aircraft base


Location

This is a full-time flight crew position.

Primary aircraft base:

New Castle Airport (KILG)
New Castle, Delaware

Pilots are expected to reside within approximately two hours of the aircraft base to support operational needs.


Job Description & Responsibilities

Provide a superior air transportation experience while supporting an industry-leading safety record.

Represent the flight operation as a professional ambassador of flyADVANCED, ensuring both safe aircraft operation and exceptional passenger service.

Assist the Pilot in Command (PIC) in the safe operation of the aircraft during all phases of flight including taxi, takeoff, cruise, and landing in accordance with FAA regulations, OEM checklists, the flyADVANCED Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Support the PIC in conducting passenger briefings including itinerary review, weather updates, and safety information.

Provide concierge-level service to owners and passengers while maintaining a professional and safety-focused environment.

Assist in ensuring efficient and on-time departures through effective preparation and coordination.

Operate flights that may include pets and passengers who smoke.

Maintain situational awareness and readiness to assist the PIC during both normal and emergency operations.

Communicate maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) and assist with completing required maintenance documentation.

Maintain current knowledge of aircraft systems, company procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure continued professional competency.

Perform additional duties as assigned by flight operations leadership.


 Qualifications & Skills

ATP Certificate

First-Class Medical Certificate

Valid driver's license

Minimum age: 21

Must pass a pre-employment drug test

Strong communication and teamwork skills within a two-pilot flight deck environment

Ability to provide exceptional passenger service while maintaining operational discipline and professionalism


Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent

3–5 years of aviation experience preferred

Experience in Part 91 or Part 135 operations preferred

Prior turbine or jet experience preferred


Minimum Flight Time Requirements (SIC – PC-24)

1,000 hours total flight time

Multi-engine rating

Commercial pilot certificate

Recent PC-24 simulator-based training completed within the last 12 months
